Ingredients
  • Large bakery-style soft peanut butter cookies: 3, finely chopped
  • Semi-sweet chocolate chips: 1/2 cup (125 mL)
  • Bananas: 3, peeled and cut in half lengthwise
  • Large marshmallows
  • Maraschino cherries
  • Wood skewers
Utensils
  • Microwaveable bowl
  • Parchment paper-lined baking sheet.
  • Measuring spoons
  • Knife
  • Wooden skewers

Directions
  1. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Place chopped peanut butter cookies on a plate. Set aside.
  2. Place the chocolate chips in a wide, flat microwaveable bowl and heat on HIGH 20 sec. Stir and repeat until chocolate is melted.
  3. Dip 1 side of each halved banana into the melted chocolate then roll in the chopped cookies. Let stand for a few sec. to allow crumbs to adhere. Place on lined sheet to cool. Dip 1 end of each marshmallow in the chocolate and stand - chocolate-side up - on the sheet to cool 3 to 5 min.
  4. For each kabob, thread 1 marshmallow onto skewer, followed by 1 halved banana (threaded lengthwise) and 1 maraschino cherry. Refrigerate until ready to eat.
